Jesus, help us to live with the contradiction of peace; my experience of peace may be regarded to be discord for others, and their experience of peace may be perceived as discord by me; help us to understand peace in temporal life when many different people understand their supreme values differently such as to set themselves at odds and hinder working together. God, the peace I knew in my early age would be an ignorant peace to me now and so we need grace to live with the impossible orchestration of everyone being at peace in the same way at any given time.
